a full discharge and recharge (attempted calibration despite says that's not necessary).ģ using the activity monitor to see if something is sucking energy unduly. Which leaves me feeling very concerned on what continues.Ģ. I have heard do NOT need calibration for that MacBook Pro, but it feels like it does. For example, tonight the battery came into sleep mode with 16% left on the screen - sound almost if the MacBook thought it was exhausted. I think the battery is depleting faster (which is natural after 3.2 years) but benchmarking between percentage left and the unit goes into mode 'sleep' is meaningless. I have a MacBook Pro (mid-2012) with a battery 3.2 old Yes and less than 300 cycles. I hope that someone in the community can help with this question.
